Our Insight Days are one day courses designed to give you an idea
of the commitment involved in keeping and flying birds of prey and
owls. They are not just for people who are interested in keeping one,
but also for those of you who would like to find out more and be able
to spend time with them.
The day is a combination of practical and theoretical work and will
cover such areas as the legal aspects of keeping birds of prey, their
care, feeding and training.
After lunch, provided by us, you will be learning how to train a
bird and will be picking up and flying many different species during
the afternoon.
This is simply a wonderful opportunity to get close to a variety of
birds of prey, which is just not always possible.
A word of warning though: Your interest will probably grow and grow
as you find out more about these fascinating raptors. It is also the
chance to meet other like-minded people, and many friendships have
started on an Insight Day.
